The most important thing to rank up fast is to pay attention to the challenges. Don't just stick with one loadout all the time. If you have done all you can on one challenge work on another. Keep the XP coming. Participate in the daily and weekly challenges. Sometimes they will offer 1000 XP to blow up a car.

Pay attention to your map. Check it every couple of seconds. This is important because enemy positions are revealed here in the big areas where there are no green arrows. Sometimes you can see the green arrows disappear as they enter this empty area.

Do research on a good accurate assault rifle. Consider the recoil. Scar-L, G36C and ACR are pretty good guns but you need to pick a gun that you can use well. The first default class is the G36C, and it is actually a very good gun. The PP90M1 with Kick and Rapid Fire is good for people who run and gun.

Also research your perks well. For example with the Assassin Perk enemies cannot see you on the map when they deploy a UAV, which is often but remember when you shoot you will appear on the map for a short while.

Killstreaks are good because they stack so selecting killstreaks that are close together make it easier. You can get the first killstreak, and get a kill with it as well as your next killstreak which will get you one or two more kills and the third killstreaks.

Pay attention to objects you can use for cover. There are many conveniently placed objects such as walls that you can peek over when you crouch or stand revealing only your head. For example there is a fire truck in the middle of interchange that has a notch cut out of it. I use it to get most of my kills on that map. Never stand in the open. Move from cover to cover.

Also get to know when to use your equipment. A lot of people forget about their bumper button. I’m talking about the buttons for grenades and flash bangs. Throw a flashbang into an area before you enter it if you suspect someone is hiding there. All they will see is a white screen and you will get an easy kill. Grenades are good for reaching rooms you can’t get into. Throw it through the window.

If you can’t get a killstreak going use the Support Package. It will allow you to maintain killstreaks even if you die after every kill you get.

Try to aim for the top half of the enemies body. It will drop their health faster than it would if you hit them in the lower abdomen or arms and legs. A head shot will kill them fast.

The Marksman perk works well as a Tier 3 perk choice. You will be able to see targets that are farther away.

Shoot in short quick bursts. Holding the button down will decrease your accuracy.

Pay attention to who the best player is on your team and follow him. Learn from him. Go back after the game and watch how they played in the theater.
